Striker

The Illustrated story is to be part of the fantasy magazine I am working on.
I cannot talk to much about the story here but I will talk about the artwork and design.

What you see here is a robot with at least 1 weapon attached to its back. but only 40% of the character is actualy visable.
communication antennas where the ears would be if it was human.
the bottom portion of the face can actually slid up to give protection to the eye when in battle, but the consequence is limited visibility.

The actual design of the robot comes from multiple influences such as Robotech, Armored core, Transformers and even some old ww2 russian tanks. (bolts) The blue color is my own little way of paying an omage to the character Deathshead 2  from marvel comics. I absolutely adored this old comic book when I was young and I loved it so much I created a character (striker) based upon DH2 series ,It even looked very similiar with the skull mask and cannon arm. I still hold this character dear to me .

this character has been with me for about 13 years now, and I am glad that I can finaly share the story with you all.

When you say?
Well as soon as I can.  As you can see I'm not just twiddling my thumbs over here. I am working on this project as much as I can, This is not your run of the mill same ol boring robot wars or typical comic strip.
This will be Mature, grusome, Bloody, and Deal with real life emotions, and I promise you will all be in for a treat .
